Penthea is a private organization. We fund our development and non-profit activities through activities such as educational programs for schools and preschools, public displays, and hands-on experiences at our rescue and breeding center. We do not receive funding from the City of Prague or any of its districts, and we receive grants only sporadically for specific projects.

We believe this is the right approach. We offer high-quality, time-tested services, and we are very pleased that the profits from these activities allow us to fund the rescue of wild animals that come to us for various reasons, as well as our much-needed conservation breeding programs for endangered owl species.
